Halloween

For our ward Halloween party, Asia was a little bumble bee and Tom was a vampire. Our friend Patricia wrote a skit for the youth to put on for the primary children. It was a hit. Tom was the narrator with a Transylvanian accent which soon turned into a French accent! He was great!

Mount and Biking

Some may have thought Lake Powell was the bees knees for Fall break but I hate to let them know that they missed the opportunity to Ride at break neck speeds down the muddy clay face of SQUAW PEAK, well as long as our tires weren't filled with so much mud that we couldn't move.

We froze our hands, ruined our bikes and came home with so much of the mountain on our backs that the Bingham Copper mine is now the number two earthen hole in this state. That translates into an excellent ride.

Winter comes to Provo

Our first parenting struggle: Teaching Beck snow and cold are GREAT or raising him with the sense to move south for the winter...

Goat Mountain Blog

I just want to say I think this blog is terrific!  You're all doing a great job and I love the pictures!  And there is even a file of John and Dave in the morning!

I know you'll all laugh, but I have to tell you I have put the main part with the pictures into a file that I can make into a hard copy if I need to.  It just goes to show you I'm trying to get 100% into the tech-age, but what if the whole thing goes down?

Pals in Powell-part 2

Pals in Powell

Cory, Lucy, Callie and kids all went down to Lake
Powell last weekend. We had a lot of fun. We stayed
on a friends houseboat and enjoyed the sunshine. On
the way home we stopped off at Goblin Valley for a
much needed Dirt Clod War!

Love,

Lucy & Cory

Here's some of us at the corn maze where I work. It's really beautiful. Then there's one of the kids on the tramp that someone in our ward gave us.

Beck's Hospital Visit

Beck had his first hospital visit Tuesday to have the blood blister (hemangioma) on his nose burned off.  We've got some good before and after shots.  He charmed all the doctors and nurses and then fell asleep right before they took him into the operating room.  All went well and he should be all healed in about a week.

Chocolate!

Last week, Asia and I went to the Caillers Chocolate Factory near Gruyeres- my parents were taking their friend from out of town there. Asia was thrilled (so was I!), and then there's also a pic taken in the old town of Gruyeres.
