Sweet Evan in a gown!

They don't circumcise during your hospital stay here, so last week we had to take Evan to the children's hospital for this intervention. Tom took the afternoon off work so he could be there for our little guy. What we didn't realize was that they don't allow parents in the room so they unexpectedly whisked Evan off into an operating room for 45 minutes... talk about separation anxiety for me! Anyway, here are pics of Evan in his endearing little hospital gown. Some of you may be wondering about the name on his bracelet, I don't think we've gotten round to telling everyone that we decided on the name Evan Benjamin - Evan after his grandpa  and Benjamin after his uncle Benj Hiatt.

when Beck went through this rite of passage they let me hold his little hand. He didn't seem to care for the numbing part but they opened a little creamer cup that had sugar water in it which he did like and consumed about three and a half cups by the time the nurse/bartender cut him off and made him use a designated driver. Well done he sure is a cute boy and I think he has a great name.
we love you kids
